Granlibakken Cross Country Skiing and Snowshoeing

Located near Tahoe City on the northwest shore of Lake Tahoe , Granlibakken Resort has some of the best snow available. Granlibakken is a Norwegian name meaning a hill sheltered by trees. There is plenty of Sierra terrain and miles of ungroomed skiing and snowshoeing trails to explore. Ski and snowshoe rentals are available and the warming hut is open seven days a week.
