Sierra-at-Tahoe Skiing and Snowboarding

Sierra-at-Tahoe is the first major resort up U.S. Highway 50 and the closest major resort to Sacramento and the Bay Area. It is often overlooked by destination skiers to the South Shore. The resort has a compact base area and no-frills, laid-back atmosphere, as its motto, “Just Chill”, states. Sierra-at-Tahoe has more than 2,000 vertical feet and 2,000 acres, and the tree skiing is some of the best in the country.
